Commercial vs. Residential Window Cleaning: What Changes the Price
Residential window cleaning is usually a smaller, detail-heavy visit priced around a defined home scope. Commercial work is a property operation: larger areas, more access planning, site control, documentation, scheduling, insurance, and often multiple cleaning methods.

The scopes are different businesses
Residential work often rewards route density, fast quoting, homeowner trust, careful interior access, screens, tracks, and hand detailing. Commercial work adds procurement, certificates, site plans, tenant or guest coordination, access equipment, larger crews, documentation, and longer payment cycles.
Neither is automatically better. Residential can create frequent smaller jobs. Commercial can create larger scopes with longer sales cycles and more operating requirements.

Compare complete cost, not spray time
For either lane, price loaded labor, travel, equipment, water, chemistry, insurance, setup, protection, detailing, rework, overhead, and profit. Commercial bids also need access, pedestrian control, documentation, permits or airspace work when applicable, and the cost of carrying receivables.
SkyPSI's public average commercial job value is $13,500. It describes job value across the current commercial mix. It is not what every building pays and it is never an Operator income or profit promise.

Drones change one cost center
On suitable commercial exteriors, drones can reduce lift, scaffold, or rope-access expense for the drone-performed portion. Interiors, frames, ledges, restoration, and no-fit elevations still need the right traditional method.
A real comparison holds the building, scope, frequency, and finish constant. SkyPSI commercial pricing remains property-specific after review.
