What it is

The Apellix Power Wash B2.

The B2 is a battery-powered aerial wash system for commercial exterior cleaning. The ground rig supplies pressure, flow, and cleaning media. The aircraft carries and aims the lance at the surface.

Key specifications

Apellix B2 key specifications

Battery flight time
Up to32 MIN
Working height
Up to195 FT
Battery-equipped wash configuration
Approx.30 LB
Pressure at the ground pump
Up to4,000 PSI
Flow
Up to11 GPM
Selected-area automated cleaning
AIRTRACE

Maximum equipment values. Pressure is measured at the ground pump. The surface sets the cleaning recipe, and SkyPSI caps exterior-cleaning workflows at 4,000 PSI.

How it works

The pressure comes from the ground.

  1. 01

    Ground rig

The ground pump creates pressure and flow.

  2. 02

    Hose

Purified water or compatible cleaning solution travels up from the ground.

  3. 03

    Drone

The aircraft carries and aims the lance while countering hose drag, wind, and spray reaction.

  4. 04

    Surface

Nozzle and standoff shape the delivered cleaning action on the facade.

What it cleans

Glass and facades.

Windows are a standard B2 application with no separate flight payload. The ground system supplies purified water or compatible cleaning solution.

For soft washing and exterior facade cleaning, SkyPSI chooses the pressure, chemistry, flow, nozzle, and delivery plan that fit the surface.

Precision and control

Trace the area. The B2 runs the grid.

With AirTrace, the pilot traces a box on the controller and the B2 cleans the selected area while it maintains distance. Pilot oversight remains required.

Automatic landing, obstacle avoidance, and distance hold are built into the platform.

Field workflow

Eight batteries. Two rapid chargers.

The B2 ships with eight batteries and two rapid chargers. Up to 32 minutes per battery means fewer land, change, relaunch, and reposition interruptions.

Work at height

Less time on lifts and ropes.

Lifts, scaffolds, and rope rigs are the slowest, most expensive part of high exterior work. On suitable elevations, the B2 takes that portion to the air: your crew stays on the ground, on the glass, and off the harness.

Every flight is run by an FAA Part 107 certified pilot.
